Andrei Kolosov is an independent feature film, adapted by Daniel McKleinfeld from a story by Ivan Turgenev. The movie will be shooting in the Winter and Spring of 2010 in New York City, and is currently casting.

The movie is the story of Rob, a jock from Montana in his first year of college in New York. A rich, sheltered kid, Rob quickly becomes the only person on campus who doesn't know 1) that he's visibly in love with Andrei, his "best friend", and 2) that his "best friend" is a gigolo and a sociopath.

Both SAG and non-SAG members welcome to audition. Non-actors also welcome to audition, both for main roles and extra roles---we need people to play jocks, theater techs, international hipsters, random students, and other small parts. Production help is also welcome from anyone who wants to volunteer! No pay, unfortunately.
